Mr. Laaker Engages in Major Legal Debacle
(New York City) – After another well-received press release hit the streets, Micah Laaker was presented with yet a fourteenth "cease-and-desist" legal notice on Tuesday, August 1.
Mr. Laaker, having successfully called out Alex Meyer in a previous release, received a notice from the said Mr. Meyer. Soaked in tearstains, the note was conspicuous for its lack of capital letters, massive self-promotion and misspellings (Note the first sentence.). Mr. Laaker, knowing justice has long served as his faithful ward, released the notice (below) for all to peruse.

from the legal council for alexander eben meyer, president and ceo of eben.comDear Mr. Laaker,
Ny client is deeply offended by the personal attack suffered at the hands of the staff at laaker.com. At no time did mr. meyer ever make said comments promoting eben.com (aol keyword = eben) nor would he ever. Alexander Eben Meyer as well as his site, eben.com (nasdaq symbol = ebn) are supporters of the community as well as staunch supporters of freedom of speech, yet at no time would abuse these angles with the intent of politicing eben.com. With the exception of being incredibly boring, mr. meyer had previously had no complaints with the operation of laaker.com, however, if Mr. Laaker and his cohorts continue with this escapade that only brings pain and sadness to Mr. Meyer and eben.com, we will be forced to take legal action.

Mr. Laaker and Mr. Meyer have since begun discussions to end the legal rigamorole and handle the matter "like gentlemen." Apparently, this matter was actually handled via a rubberband fight in which Mr. Laaker walked away with a welt between his eyes; Mr. Meyer walked away with an apology.
