(New York) – Finally taking a stand against all those who were "hatin’" on him, Micah Laaker announced that he was quite content with his "player" lifestyle. "A lot of cats are denouncing their playalistic lifestyle these days, thanks to catchy hits from Terror-Squadian Big Pun and his much lighter singing sidekick, Joe. Well, me, I’m proud of what I am, and no haters are gonna come between me and my money," shouted Mr. Laaker to an otherwise unnoticing public on the corner of 20th and 5th Avenue. Other ramblings were also reported, although he was noticed to be chanting, "Manhattan keeps on making it, Brooklyn keeps on taking it," for no easily discernible reason.

Although many "players" are reported to have an abundance of fine cars and exotic women, accompanied by large amounts of cash (or benjamins) and liqueurs, Mr. Laaker has yet to be seen in public with any of these. Speculation runs rampant as to whether Mr. Laaker really is a "player no more" or if the "haters" were just instituting a smear campaign against his good name.
