(Kansas City, MO) Defying conventional wisdom, Micah Laaker indeed had his hair cut, as per his predictions upon changing his "mug." (See press release 12/13/98.)

Quick to prove pundits and naysayers wrong, Mr. Laaker was reported to have had his hair trimmed last night. The exact time and location of the haircut was unknown at the time of this release, but sources assumed a timeframe of 6 to 8 p.m. in the Westport area.

As to the rumors of amusing quips, acquaintances reported contradictory accounts. Some noted many chuckles overheard in his presence, but these reports have yet to be corroborated. Also in question was whether the quips were due to the change in "mugs."
